Are you tired of skiing by yourself?  Would you like to ski in a group and meet new ski buddies?  Want to go beyond the Banff Trail but don't know where to go? 

We will be running group drop in lessons every day between December 26th and January 2nd. Classic lessons at 10:30 a.m. and noon. Skate lessons at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the lesson time to register and get trail passes.

For Private lessons please book at least 24 hours in advance.

Trail Sports is forming a social skiing group which will meet on a weekly basis for skiing at the Canmore Nordic Centre. The aim is to allow skiers looking for someone to ski with to be able to ski in a non racing, non training atmosphere.

We will meet at Trail Sports on Saturday morning at 10:30 and ski with a Trail Sports instructor. If there is sufficient interest the group may be divided by ability.

We will commence winter opening hours on November 1. 

We will be open 9 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am to 6 pm Friday to Sunday. We will be closed on Christmas Day.

We will extend Wednesday hours to 9 pm, when the Canmore Nordic Ski Club masters program is running.

The Nordic Centre has opened 1.5 km of "Frozen Thunder" for skiing. You need to pay a trail fee to ski.

The first cross country skiing waxing clinic will be held at 7 pm on October 11. This lecture and discussion will give you the information to get your skis in top condition for the start of the ski season on October 15th.
